This is an independent contractor position, not W2 employment. You will be required to withhold and file your own taxes, and we will supply a 1099 tax form at after the end of the year to assist with that.

We're a local house cleaning company based out of Milton, PA. We connect customers needing their homes or office cleaned with independent cleaners. We are currently looking for individuals who have paid cleaning experience of at least 2 years (previous experience in cleaning hotels, homes, or retail properties).

DUTIES

Arriving to a homeowner's location at a specified time, cleaning residences via dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning baseboards, cabinets, sinks, counters, tubs, toilets, and windows (inside), changing bed linens, and general tidying, while using your own products/tools.

HOURS / AVAILABILITY

We expect to have 2-4 jobs available per week, each averaging 4 hours. This will vary, but we are a growing company. You can choose what jobs you want or do not want, and consequently "set your own hours." Most homeowners request appointments between 9am to 1pm or 1pm to 5pm during a weekday. We do not usually schedule early morning, weekend, or evening work.

WHY YOU SHOULD APPLY

Competitive pay – you receive a majority percentage of each cleaning done (averages out to $18.50 /hr, plus possible tips).

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must have a valid social security number, be authorized to work in the United States, and be able to pass a criminal background-check (which we do perform, for liability reasons).

2. Must have 2 years paid housecleaning experience AND have or can get your own supplies (vacuum, mop, cleaning agents, duster, etc), as you will be largely independent in your operations, methods, etc. We do not provide training, just general guidelines/expectations.

3. Ideal candidates would live in Watsontown, Milton, Lewisburg, Northumberland, or surrounding areas. Must have your own means of reliable transportation and be willing to drive to various locations in Union, Northumberland, and Montour counties. You will be compensated for farther traveling distances.

4. Be able to be on your feet with light lifting (less than 15 pounds).
